A LITTLE OF US
"We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are"
JESSICA

I'm Jessica and I'm a videomaker and photographer. Creativity has accompanied me since childhood, remaining one of the central fulcrums for the years to come.

I am passionate about travel and personal growth; I like oriental disciplines and philosophies, walks immersed in nature, good food, quality time spent with loved ones. I love relaxing surrounded by the scent of a good incense or essential oil, while I immerse myself in reading a book or simply savor the moment. Curious by nature, I love reading and learning about many, too many topics!

Photography is a passion that I have always had since I was little. I liked having my portraits taken and I loved browsing through albums, I was especially fascinated by the older photos, the yellowed ones, which smelled of lived history.

I still remember when as a child I went on trips with a disposable camera, with those few shots counted, so I had to be careful about the photos I took. Most of the time they weren't great photographs, a little blurry, a little crooked, a little burned... but it didn't matter. What was really important was having imprinted the memory in an image forever.

I still have a vivid feeling of the first time, at about eight or nine years old, when they made me try to shoot with an analog camera, or that time I picked up the camera to start documenting family vacations with videos.

I was attracted by every form of creativity, such as spending hours and hours drawing, losing myself among characters and invented stories, surrounded by a myriad of colors, sheets of paper and so much imagination.

In 2017 I finally left my permanent job and, thanks also to Max who has always supported me, I pursued my dream of being able to document love stories and more with my camera.

So I delved into the world of photography, later specializing in videomaking, continuously studying and learning new things every year.

My passion for backpacking has helped me a lot from the point of view of my personal journey, also influencing my work, helping me develop a certain type of sensitivity useful for capturing every single detail in the story I am telling through my camera.

MAX

I'm Max and I'm a filmmaker. It seems like yesterday when I stopped painting to start this fantastic job that has led me, after years and without any regrets, to understand how powerful and liberating it is to express myself creatively through the creation of wedding videos.

As a figurative artist, I have always placed individuals and their stories at the center of my research. This attention has pushed me to explore the depths of human emotions, to capture those hidden details that tell much more than what is seen on the surface. And this is where the passion for cinema comes in, a world in which visual narration becomes a very powerful tool to convey emotions and tell unforgettable stories.

I love using my video camera to capture the emotions of others and through the magic of editing to interpret in an expressionist style the magic of all the moments experienced by couples.

Traveling is another of my great passions, I am fascinated by discovering new cultures and creating documentaries that tell the lives of the people I meet along the way.

My creativity is fueled by the experiences and sensations I feel around the world, I am a backpacker, a lover of slowness that allows you to savor every encounter and every experience with the right intensity.

I find that divergent thinking is essential for inspiration, because it offers new and unexpected perspectives, which are then reflected in the way I interpret reality through editing and the choice of soundtrack, in order to tell the story as if it were a film.

I also produce TV commercials, short films and corporate videos, it is from here that I draw the experiences and technical knowledge that allow me to offer a qualitatively different service in the wedding sector.

I love this job because it is a continuous source of personal and professional evolution. Each project is a step forward in my artistic journey, and the desire to always do better is what motivates me to create films that not only tell a story, but that transform it into a unique visual and emotional experience.

We are Jessica and Max, a couple in life too.

We love backpacking, those long, slow journeys, not organized in detail but made up of choices made day by day, where you savor every moment, where the unexpected becomes adventure, where you can lose yourself in the culture of the place.

These experiences have allowed us to enrich not only our everyday lives, but also our work, allowing us to develop a sensitivity made up of nuances and details captured in an instant, which we try to apply every day in videos and photography.

This is how Max Billia Wedding was born in 2015, out of a passion for telling authentic stories and making you relive them just like a movie.

We believe in stories and their power to tell them.

This is why we want to revive the couples who will rely on us

the moments with the same intensity of that day.

Discovering the most authentic India.

"When Shiva married Parvati, he had to look for a place to move, and so he chose Varanasi. And, although the city came into being long before Shiva designated it as his abode, it is said that he was the one who created it."
